A:  It is warm in Chicago during July… sometimes even hot..  We have been blessed every year with great weather…

Cool clothes is the recommendation.  Please bring comfortable walking shoes.  We will be doing a fair amount of

walking;  you may even do more during your free time on Saturday. Please also bring a light jacket for our Sea Dog

Firework Cruise  for Saturday night.  It can get chilly out on Lake Michigan and we have even been known to get a little

 wet!!

Our Friday Night Reception and Sunday morning mass would be our only dressier event... Smart Casual!!!

A: A little dress trivia.........

Business Casual...  aka  Smart Casual.  It's a popular dress code that emerged in white collar work places in the Western Countries in the 1990's.

Smart Casual is the middle ground between business formal wear and street wear.

For Example:

For Women:
Capris/long shorts are acceptable as casual dress and regular dress if they are tailored and of a dress pant material (usually not denim or heavy cotton) or a polo shirt and trousers.

For Men:

A combination of a collared shirt (perhaps a polo shirt instead of a dress shirt), cotton  trousers (such as khakis.)
